On Saturday, June 8th, 2019, CCSR students Jenny Lu, Joseph Schmidt, Jasmine Hagbourne, and Liam Brady unveiled the memorial on Salem Street Burying Ground in honor of all the unmarked graves of enslaved people in Medford from over two centuries ago. The unveiling ceremony featured guest speakers and a plethora of journalists, who reported on the project in a series of articles and news segments.
