Mustang Assembly 2021

Mustang Assembly 2021

The McGlynn Middle School CCSR hosted the 4th annual Mustang Way Assembly for the 6th graders last Wednesday. Middle school and high school students shared their stories about what the Mustang Way means to them. They shared the importance of ACE, the Mustang Way and how it is applied to our academics, athletics and our everyday lives. We were fortunate to hear from 8th graders Vinny DimMartino, Reza Basnet, and Maria Eduadro de Gois. Among the Medford High School student leaders were sophomores Bella O’Brien and Molly Lappin and seniors Kate Joslin, Theo Tringale, Lilly Beagan, Ellie Hunt, and Zayn Yousef. 8th grader Amy Radzisewski included a piece on the awareness of mental health to tie in with being kind to everyone. The event was hosted by McGlynn 8th graders James Cluggish and Lina Gomez McDonald.
All of these students were chosen because they exemplify the Mustang Way both inside and outside of the classroom. After the 6th grade students heard many wonderful stories of what the Mustang Way means to various student leaders, they were then challenged to demonstrate the Mustang Way in their own lives. Thank you to all of the students who spoke at this year’s Mustang Way assembly, and thank you so much to the 6th graders of the McGlynn Middle School who were so wonderfully behaved during the assembly.
